We are all special and made for a purpose and we need to not lose sight of this despite our circumstances or maybe because of them. Maybe our circumstances/obstacles/trials can be defining and molding us, helping us become all we can possibly be; not simply for ourselves but for one another, to establish our character and to bring Glory to our creator .

     What does it mean to be transparent? Well according to Webster it means to be clear enough to see through or to be without deceit or pretense to be willing to show ones self. Typically vulnerability is considered an area of weakness but when it comes to relationships it can and ought to be considered a strength to be valued. In the statistics of psychology it is considered as one of the factors which contribute to longer lasting relationships so why are transparency and vulnerability so difficult? In my mind they are some of the most difficult concepts to grasp because they reveal our inner selves and expose our perceived weaknesses. I am reminded of Jesus who never changed His words or actions even when they could have changed an outcome such as his Crucifixion or his popularity with the masses, He stayed his course and ended up conquering his foe. The ultimate fight between good and evil, between life and death and even when He considered himself weak when He asked His Father if this cup could be taken from him, he stayed the course. Thus proving that we are stronger when we choose to expose our vulnerabilities. Our hopes, our dreams our inner most desires become a reality only when can we be open to another's love, speak self prophetic positivity. Bends in the road can be seen as opportunities rather than obstacles. Because we are faithful...then we can attain climbing to the top of our mountains, witness and watch miracles unfold, together we can triumph but only by seeing weakness as a strength.

Carpe Diem

You are only given on life to live, but if you are able to live your life, being yourself and doing the things in life that you really know are from your heart, then living one time is all that you will need when it is all said and done. As each minute passes by we must take notice of the fact that our lives are moving closer and closer to being over. So place things in the proper aspect in relation to time moving so fast. 

Matthew 24:36

[ The Day and Hour Unknown ] “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Be sure to prioritize and put the things in life that matter most like God, family, and friends first. Never give up on following your dreams no matter what is happening in your life, and no matter how terrible things seem to be going for you. Each day that you are given new breath and new life take advantage of it, live!

Matthew 6:33-34 ESV 

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Psalm 16:11 ESV 

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

So GO FORTH today and Seize it, Make it Glorious for God and thus Yourself!

Happiness is a Choice

Happiness isn't a place in time, happiness is a state of mind. Don't let your bubble of happiness be burst because of anything that occurs in your life. Rather than making happiness your aim in life, make being content your aim in life. Do things that you know are a part of you, and that help to show to the world who God really is. 

Philippians 4:12

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

Not everyone can say that they have made a huge impact on this world by being themselves, so be the leader of a new trend. Show the world who you are, who God is and continue to work at living your life as courageously as you possibly;by being transparent, vulnerable and by doing the things you love, with those and for those who encourage you. 

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Philippians 4:4[ Final Exhortations] Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again:Rejoice!

Remember that happiness is a by-product of you living a life true to yourself and the LORD; though you can't force it, if you look hard enough when you are unhappy, your happiness and better yet your contentment will soon be found.

1 Timothy 6:6But godliness with 

contentment is great gain.

Life is What You Make It

Though it is human nature to worry and to look for threats of danger in our lives, we must come to know that if we live a life full of worry, our whole life can be slowed from us being drug down in spirit, in our words, and even ultimately in our physical being. 

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’  For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.  But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.    Matthew 6:31-34

Instead of dedicating a life to worry, and avoiding many opportunities in life because we are too scared that we will be hurt, we must make a solid effort each day to make each day more positive than the day before. 

14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. Luke 21:14,15


Every time you notice yourself thinking in a negative manner, take a breath, and focus on thinking about how your thought may be turned into a positive thought. 
Philippians 4:8

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Every time that we notice that we spew negative words, we should take a second, think of a way to reword what we have said or need to say in a positive manner, and then say it aloud. 

1 Peter 4:11

If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Life is what you make it, and if you choose to think and speak positively, positive things are sure to happen.

So when I got back from the emergency room this morning after low potassium, low blood sugars (41) and high ammonia numbers I was feeling overtaken not with love, but fear, weakness and then I put on my new playlist and this song "Lift Me Up" by The Afters Light and it truly lifted my spirits and so just like a good friend of mine whose name will remain unmentioned but she will know who she is (lol) I have had the song on repeat and I am on about round number 10 and I am feeling stronger by the minute, in my body, mind but most especially my spirit, so I thought it would probably be best to just share the lyrics with you all and wish you a blessed Thursday. Mindset

Never giving up is a mindset that we must all lean on as we live our lives everyday. We have to make a huge effort everyday to not only push as hard as we possibly can, but while pushing we must remember to only push in the direction that will take us the places we truly want to be in our own minds and hearts. 

Deuteronomy31:6

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified 

because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

1 Corinthians 16:13

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

Give a supreme effort. Push until you can no longer push anymore, and leave everyday with the feeling of being satisfied that you gave your all, to see the dreams you have inside of yourself come into fruition.
